Piper to celebrate wedding at ex's pub

Billie Piper is to celebrate her wedding to Laurence Fox in her ex-husband's pub.

The Doctor Who actress is planning to marry her fiancé on New Year's Eve at their local church - St. Mary's in Midhurst, West Sussex.

She then wants to hold the reception at the nearby Lickfold Inn, which is owned by her former husband Chris Evans.

A source said: "Some people might see this as a publicity stunt, but Billie genuinely wants to celebrate her special day with Chris there.

"She knows Chris will make sure her and Laurence are waited on hand and foot and have the best possible wedding reception they can have - that's why she chose to have it there."

Piper divorced Evans in May this year after five years of marriage. Evans has since married partner Natasha Shishmanian, while Piper met Fox earlier this year when they appeared in London play Treats together.

When Evans and Piper split up they vowed to remain "best friends for life".
