President Bush in Ellen TV prank

Ellen DeGeneres played a prank on US president George Bush by getting his daughter to call him during an episode of her chat show.

The TV presenter was interviewing Jenna Bush on The Ellen DeGeneres Show when she encouraged her to phone her father and have it taped for the programme.

Jenna rang president Bush and told him that he was on the comedienne's show. A surprised Bush said: "Wow! That's great! How's my little girl doing?"

The First Daughter claimed that Bush was "going to kill" her, but he insisted that he was not angry about the surprise. He said: "No, not at all. I'm excited to talk to you. I'm glad to talk to Ellen."
