Zac Efron has admitted that his singing and dancing skills have not helped him find love.
The actor - currently dating High School Musical co-star Vanessa Hudgens - said he relies on regular methods of impressing women after failing to score with his talent.
He said: "[Singing and dancing] doesn't work. I've tried. Conversation always works best. There's probably only one instance I can think of when singing to a girl worked for me."
He added: "As for dancing, you can't really go up to a girl and bust in on a cool dance move. It just doesn't work. I've tried that, too. It's not that cool."
The 20-year-old recently signed to appear in comedy film 17 alongside Matthew Perry.
