Mendes is latest celeb to strip for PETA

Eva Mendes has become the latest celebrity to appear naked in an advert for animal rights group PETA.

The Hitch actress was photographed in the nude to get the message across that people should not wear fur.

Mendes, whose advert was revealed in New York yesterday, said: "There are way too many amazing faux-fur options out there for people to still be wearing real fur.

"I want people to know that… killing a poor animal and wearing [its fur] isn't cool. Respecting all life forms is cool."

She has followed in the footsteps of Dita Von Teese, Alicia Silverstone and Office star Lucy Davis by baring all for the charity this year.
