Hudgens 'irritated by Efron's vanity'

Vanessa Hudgens is reportedly becoming increasingly irritated with boyfriend Zac Efron's vanity and "girly" behaviour.

The 18-year-old was rumoured be upset when her High School Musical co-star refused to enter her sister's birthday party last month after discovering a large spot on the side of his face.

A source told Star magazine: "He just flipped out [in the car]. He knew there were a bunch of girls at the party who worship him - and he didn’t want them all staring at his pimple.”

Hudgens gave him her concealer to hide the spot, but the source said: “Vanessa doesn’t want to share makeup with her boyfriend. It makes her feel weird.

“[She] wants Zac to realise that it’s OK if he doesn’t always look perfect. She would love him even if he didn’t look like a Teen Beat cover boy. In fact, she would probably love him more if he relaxed about his looks and got a little scruffed up once in a while.”

The source added: "Zac really is a great guy - he’s just a little too self-absorbed.”
