Hilton helps injured Oompa Loompa

Paris Hilton helped an injured performer who was dressed in an Oompa Loompa costume at the Cameo nightclub in Miami on Saturday.

The US socialite reportedly ran to help Robin Sherwood after he hurt his leg during a stage invasion.

Sherwood was performing with Jeff Beacher's Madhouse at the venue in a costume of orange makeup and green hair.

According to People magazine, Hilton is friends with the performer and already visited him earlier in the day because she is a supporter of his urgent campaign to get a kidney transplant.

Lawyer Mike Heller commented: "Paris stayed back at the event when she heard that he was injured, to make sure he was okay.

"She was very concerned with his health. She didn't leave until she knew that he was okay."

A source added: "Yes, Paris Hilton stayed with him until an ambulance came to take care of him. Paris was great, she was there until he was turned over to the medical technicians."
