Opik ready to marry Cheeky Girl

Liberal Democrat MP Lembit Opik is reportedly ready to announce his engagement to girlfriend Gabriela Irimia.

Opik has been dating the Cheeky Girl since last December and according to reports is ready to ask her to marry him.

Irimia's agent told the Daily Mail: "Marriage is definitely on the cards, it's clearly what Lembit wants.

"They are a very, very happy couple and I'm sure Gabriela would say yes - as long as she liked the ring."

A Lib Dem source added: "I don't think we'll have to wait too long for an announcement."

The MP's ex-fiancee, weather girl Sian Lloyd, announced her engagement to motor racing mogul Jonathan Ashman over the weekend.
