Wentz denies Simpson ban rumours

Pete Wentz has denied rumours that Ashlee Simpson's father banned him from the family's Christmas dinner.

Joe Simpson had reportedly refused to let the Fall Out Boy star visit his girlfriend over the holiday because Wentz admitted in an interview that he has kissed other men in the past.

But Wentz dismissed the claims in an email to MTV, writing: "I think Joe gets a really bad rap in the press. He's always been nothing but nice to me. He even called me to let me know he expects me to show up for Xmas. So there's no truth to that [rumour]."

The bassist recently refuted reports that there is a sex tape of him circulating online.
