Dickinson defends Banks 'fat' remark
Janice Dickinson has defended herself after she called fellow model Tyra Banks "fat" on TV.

The I'm A Celebrity... runner-up made the remark while supporting actress Jennifer Love Hewitt over suggestions that she had put on weight.

Dickinson told The Today Show : "You want to see someone fat, I'm sorry, Tyra, Tyra Banks is fat." She then claimed that she loved Banks and was just "kidding".

However, her remarks caused outrage among Banks' fans, prompting Dickinson to speak out on Access Hollywood.

She told the programme: "I was not criticising her, it's the truth. She's large. She admits herself that she is a fat, blank, blank, referring to her derriere."

She added: "Ms. Banks is a wonderful lady and this is a big brouhaha over nothing."

The pair originally clashed when Dickinson appeared as a judge on Banks' show America's Next Top Model show, eventually being asked to leave.
