Soul legend Ike Turner has died at the age of 76.
Ike, the former husband of Tina Turner, passed away at his home near San Diego, California. The cause of his death has yet to be revealed.
Turner married 18-year-old singer Anna Mae Bullock in 1958, launching a successful musical career alongside his wife after he changed her name to Tina. Ike and Tina Turner went on to score several hit singles, including 'River Deep Mountain High', 'Nutbush City Limits' and 'A Love Like Yours'.
However, the couple divorced in 1976 and their turbulent relationship was chronicled in the 1993 movie What's Love Got To Do With It, in which Turner was played by Laurence Fishburne.
Scott Hanover, a representative from Turner's management company, said: "Ike Turner passed away this morning. He was at his home."
