Statham 'didn't need' acting lessons

Jason Statham has revealed that Guy Ritchie advised him not to take acting lessons.
Statham was offered a role in 1998 film Lock, Stock And Two Smoking Barrels after Ritchie spotted him working at a market stall, and he was keen to carry on working in the movie industry after filming for the gangster flick was over.
"After Lock Stock, I told Guy I was so grateful for the experience, and I want to do another film," Statham told WENN. "Should I go to drama school, and try and learn a few more tricks of the trade?
"He said, 'F**k it. There's a fine line between intuition and technique, and at the moment, your intuition will be more interesting than your technique. So if you're asking me, don't do.'"
