Kerry Katona can't pay £200K tax bill

Kerry Katona is expected to beg the taxman for more time to pay a £200,000 bill.

The Iceland TV ad star will go to court to ask for an extension on a Christmas deadline to hand over the money, according to a report.

Katona is reportedly facing a tax debt of £700,000 and has been told that she must pay her first instalment of £200,000 soon. However, she is expected to admit that she will not be able to pay the amount until she receives her fee for appearing in an MTV reality series next year.

A source told the News of the World: "Kerry simply hasn't got the cash to pay. Her finances are a complete mess and the situation has become very serious indeed. It's a real prospect that she'll be declared bankrupt."
