Mills 'facing lawsuit' over unpaid legal bill

Heather Mills may be sued by her former divorce lawyers over an unpaid bill of £2 million, according to a report.

Legal firm Mishcon de Reya, which represented Mills for 18 months in her divorce battle with Paul McCartney, has reportedly threatened to take legal action if the former model does not start clearing her debt soon.

A source told the Daily Mail: "She has been told that a writ is as good as on its way. Mishcon is acting as any business that is concerned about recovering a bad debt would.

"The firm worked tirelessly in difficult circumstances for Heather and it is now concerned it may not get its money."

Mills parted company with the firm in November. It later emerged that she could no longer afford to pay for its services.

A spokesman for Mishcon refused to comment on the story. Mills' publicist was unavailable for comment.
