Hasselhoff's wife denies divorce claims

David Hasselhoff's ex-wife has denied claims that the couple have agreed joint custody of their teenage daughters.

It was reported yesterday that the pair had agreed a divorce settlement after several months of negotiation, including arrangements for spousal and child support.

But Bach, who divorced the actor in August 2006 after 16 years of marriage, insisted that no deal had been reached.

Her publicist said in a statement: "Pamela has been working hard to put this divorce behind her and moving on, [but] since David was unavailable to attend Friday's conference meeting, an agreement was not signed.

"Despite published reports, a settlement has not been reached nor finalised. Once David returns from vacation and elects to attend the next scheduled meeting... a settlement may be reached."

The publicist added: "As usual, Pamela's top priority is being a full-time mum to their girls."

Hasselhoff previously had custody of Taylor, 17, and Hayley, 15, following a court order in June.
