Williams to feed homeless for Christmas

Robbie Williams is to spend his Christmas feeding homeless people at a shelter in Los Angeles.

The singer has volunteered to help for free at the Skid Row charity house on San Pedro Street today, Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Williams' chef friend Raymond Terry, who first took him to see the shelter, told the Daily Star: "Robbie does an awful lot of charity work. And this is really close to his heart. Everybody I’ve taken to Skid Row is moved to tears. And the homeless people there are a lot of fun."

He added: "Most of the guys over here don’t really know who Robbie is. But there’s a lot of excitement in the air, because they’ve been told he’s a big pop star in Europe."

It has also been reported that the former Take That star plans to bring his guitar to the centre and sing Christmas carols for the homeless after they have eaten.
