Halle Berry has admitted that she was traumatised when she found out that Father Christmas was not real.
The actress baked cookies for Santa as a child, but was shocked after walking into a room to find her mother eating them.
She said: "The day I saw my mom eating the Santa cookies on the plate was one of the most horrific days of my life. I never let her forget it."
She added: "I had at least three more good years that I could have believed had she not been so careless."
