The Mummy star Brendan Fraser has separated from his wife Afton after nine years of marriage.
The actor's publicist revealed in a statement that the couple would continue to maintain a "close and caring friendship".
They tied the knot in September 1998 and have three children - Griffin Arthur, Holden Fletcher, and Leland Francis.
Fraser finished shooting The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, the third instalment of the successful franchise, in China earlier this month.
