Mika has revealed that he is proud of all the "idiotic things" he has done in the last year.
The singer claimed he has made many mistakes over the course of the last 12 months, but believes regrets are a normal part of life.
He said: "There are so many things I regret. I make mistakes. I say stupid things. I do idiotic things. And, quite frankly, I'm proud of them. Why not make mistakes?"
The 24-year-old scored a major hit with his debut album Life in Cartoon Motion in 2007, but insisted that he has no immediate plans to start recording his next LP.
He said: "I am in no hurry to get back in the studio. I'm sure a lot of people would like me to get on with it but I'm going to take my time. It will be another pop album and it will be brilliant."
