Fielder-Civil is a 'lost soul' in prison

Amy Winehouse's husband has admitted that he is "cracking up" in prison.

Blake Fielder-Civil, who is currently in custody on remand for alleged assault and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice, made the confession to a fellow inmate at Pentonville prison who has since been released.

"He was in a strange old state and said he was cracking up," the former inmate told the Daily Star Sunday.

"I didn't find Blake threatening. He just seemed lost," the source continued. "He said he couldn't believe that, just a few weeks ago, he was at an awards dinner with Amy, rubbing shoulders with the likes of Snoop Dogg, and Lewis Hamilton and drinking the finest champagne, and now he was in prison rubbing shoulders with criminals.

"I've heard rumours that not many people like him. With a rich wife, people know there could be some serious money in doing harm to Blake, so he has to watch his step."
