The actress and husband Keith Urban were reported to have shared the news with their families during the Christmas holidays.
But her spokesperson shrugged off the stories, telling the Sunday Mirror: "As far as we are concerned, it is another rumour."
Kidman recently revealed that she was planning to take a break from movies next year because she wished to go on tour with country singer Urban.
She already has two adopted children, Isabella, 14, and Conor, 12, with ex-husband Tom Cruise.
