Fearne Cotton is three months teetotal

Xtra Factor presenter Fearne Cotton has revealed that she has been teetotal for the last three months.

Cotton claimed that she felt "bloody brilliant" after giving up alcohol at the end of 2007.

She told Company magazine: "I wasn't a big drinker before so I found it quite easy to give up completely - and now I feel bloody brilliant."

The TV star also said that she could probably offer some advice to troubled stars like Britney Spears.

Talking about the US pop star, she commented: "I feel sorry for her - the old trout lips and no hair!

"I do want her to get better. She could come and live with me and be sober forever. She needs Mama Cotton to look after her."
