Velvet Revolver star Slash has revealed that he once refused to allow his son to meet Michael Jackson.
The guitarist - real name Saul Hudson - said he did not want his two-year-old to come into contact with Jackson on a trip to London after the pop legend was accused of child abuse in 2003.
He told Uncut magazine: "You know, I give the benefit of the doubt to Michael on everything - innocent until proven guilty and whatnot - but I was thinking, 'okay Michael, you figure out your s*** and I'll hold on to my son!'"
Slash collaborated with the singer on his comeback album Dangerous in 1990, going on to perform with him several times throughout the decade.
Jackson was acquitted of all child abuse charges in 2005.
