Pamela Anderson vows to focus on charity

Pamela Anderson has vowed to focus on her charity work in the next twelve months after making it through an "insane" year.

The actress was the subject of much press attention in 2007, which mainly centred around her relationships. The year saw her being granted a divorce from Kid Rock and finding love again with Rick Salomon, who she married in October. Pamela then filed for divorce in December but later promised that she was trying to "work things out" with Rick.

"2007 was an interesting year for me," Pamela explained on her online blog. "What's the definition of insanity?

"This is the year I do everything I wanted to do - my way. I have so many great projects - for the environment, for animals. I'm going to be proud of every single day - and make sure I do not veer from the path. Stay focused."
