The Devil Wears Prada star has signed on to become the latest "brand ambassador" for the cosmetics giant, promoting its as-yet-unrevealed new fragrance.
The 25-year-old follows celebrities including Isabella Rossellini, Uma Thurman, Kate Winslet, Clive Owen and Drew Barrymore in representing the firm.
Lancôme International president Odile Roujol said: "Anne Hathaway is a radiant young woman who perfectly embodies modern femininity. We know she will portray all the passion and excitement of our new fragrance."
Hathaway's campaign will be launched in September and is expected to feature print and TV advertisements.
