Britney Spears refused to speak to TV psychologist Dr Phil McGraw when he visited her in hospital, according to reports.
The celebrity therapist arrived at LA's Cedars-Sinai hospital as Spears was packing to leave on Saturday, but said he spoke to her for around an hour before walking her to her car.
However, TMZ reports that the singer did not invite him to see her and refused to talk to him when he entered.
She allegedly walked out of the room, although she later returned and submitted to just 15 minutes of questioning.
Spears refused to take part in McGraw's US TV show today, although her parents Lynne and Jamie are rumoured to have agreed to appear.
A source said: "Based on the interaction between Dr. Phil and Britney, it'll be a cold day in hell before Britney goes on his show."
Spears was taken to hospital on Thursday night after a custody dispute at her home.
