The inquest into the death of BBC children's TV presenter Natasha Collins is to open today.

The 31-year-old was found in the bath of the home she shared with fellow presenter Mark Speight in St John's Wood, north-west London, last Thursday.

Speight, who hosts art show SMart, is currently on police bail until February after he was arrested on suspicion of murder and supplying Class A drugs. He has denied any involvement in his fiancée's death.

Metropolitan Police said a post-mortem examination had proved "inconclusive" and further tests were required.

Detectives previously revealed that a suspected drug overdose is one line of inquiry being pursued.
