Hoosiers star sleeps with toy mole

The Hoosiers frontman Irwin Sparkes has revealed that he shares his bed with a toy mole.

Sparkes was given the mole by a German TV crew, and has since become attached to the "pink, hairless" creature, even naming it Barry.

Thanks to his "really long body" and "really fat head", Barry is said to resemble a "beaver that looks like a phallus".

Sparkes told DS: "We were doing a German TV interview and we were given this souvenir that's just the weirdest little toy ever. It's a pink, hairless mole with two big, pointy teeth at the front.

"We thought it was a beaver at first, but it's got a really long body and a really fat head, so, rather ironically, it's a beaver that looks like a phallus. Often I wake up and it's in my bed."
