Love Hewitt: 'Bikini comments hurt me'

Jennifer Love Hewitt has admitted that she was hurt by comments about her size in recent bikini photos.

The star was labelled overweight by various media sources after shots of her on a beach in Hawaii were published last November.

Love Hewitt has defended her figure, arguing that she is only a size 2, but claimed that the reports did upset her.

She told Extra: "It made me feel a little embarrassed, to be honest. It made me a little sad. It hurt my feelings."

Following the publication of the photos, Love Hewitt was offered a deal to pose nude with Playboy, but turned the magazine down.
