Avril Lavigne denies pregnancy claims

Avril Lavigne has denied rumours that she is expecting a baby with her husband Deryck Whibley.

Reports today suggested that the Canadian singer was a month-and-a-half pregnant with the Sum 41 member, after a DJ claimed that Whibley "has been telling all his friends that he's excited to be a father".

However, a representative for Lavigne has insisted: "It's not true."

Avril will launch her new world tour in Canada on March 5.
