Katie Holmes praises "strong" Suri

Katie Holmes has praised her 20-month old daughter Suri for being a "very strong woman".

The actress revealed that she loves spending time with "magical" Suri because the toddler teaches her new things every day.

"She's a very strong woman. I'm very proud of her. She's very smart and strong, and really magical," Holmes told People magazine. "She's actually teaching me a lot all the time - probably more than I'm teaching her."

Holmes said that she felt privileged to have Suri and husband Tom Cruise on set with her when she filmed her latest movie Mad Money.

"Having Suri and Tom on set was wonderful. You think you love to do something and then you have the people you love there," she explained. "It makes it a billion times better and you didn't realise you were missing that before. It's like, 'Oh my God, life can be this good!'"
