Robbie may move back to UK

Robbie Williams has decided that he wants to move back to the UK on a permanent basis.

The singer was impressed with the town of Swanage in Dorset when he paid a visit to his friend Jonathan Ross before Christmas.

"Contrary to what most people think, the one thing Robbie craves is a quiet life," a source told the Sunday Mirror. "During his stay in Swanage he and Jonathan played tennis on a local court and were virtually ignored. Rob was stunned at how little attention they got from locals.

"He is desperate to find somewhere where he will be left alone - and was asking Jonathan loads of questions about the area. He sounded very impressed."

Robbie, who is on strike against his record label EMI, currently spends most of his time in Los Angeles.
