McConaughey reassures jealous men

Matthew McConaughey has insisted that he would never pursue a married woman.

The actor said men often become jealous when their partners find him attractive, but he is quick to assure them that he does not believe in stealing another man's wife.

He said: "I'm not going to steal a dude's girl. You got something going, man, I'm all for it. I've been in enough relationships to know how hard they are.

"I think there should be a better sense of fraternity among men, especially if someone is married."

He added that he has no interest in being chased by married women, saying: "Are you kidding me? 'Get your ass home...' That's never been my style since I started liking girls."

McConaughey is currently filming Fool's Gold with Kate Hudson.
