Burton: 'I'm thinking about marriage'

Tim Burton has admitted that he is finally thinking about marrying long-term girlfriend Helena Bonham Carter.

The couple have been together since 2001, when they met during the filming of Planet Of The Apes, and have one son, Billy Ray, and a daughter, who was born in December.

Talking about the prospect of marriage, Burton told Radio Times: "Helena and I feel so married we never got around to doing it, but I'm thinking about it. I'm a late bloomer."

Bonham Carter has starred in several Burton-directed movies, including Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street and Big Fish.
