Beyoncé's sister praises Lynn Spears

Beyoncé's younger sister Solange has praised Jamie Lynn Spears, claiming that she will be an "amazing mum".

Solange, who gave birth to her son Daniel Juelz before she was 18, claimed that age was irrelevant when it comes to having children and that Jamie Lynn would cope well with the challenges.

She told The Daily Star: "Speaking from experience, I can tell you that she’ll be an amazing mum.

"Of course, that first year of not sleeping and just being dedicated to him had tough parts, but that’s fine. It’s been a blast for me.

"A lot of people have doubts, but when you have a child I think it takes a really non-emotional person not to have a blast, no matter what age.

"I’ve heard stories of ­people who were 14 that had kids and basically snapped into it and got into the groove of motherhood. There’s nothing out of that emotional attachment you could regret."

Spears, 16, announced she was pregnant with her first child in December.
