Zac Efron surprised by press interest

Zac Efron has admitted that he is baffled by the media's interest in his personal life.
The High School Musical actor was shocked when a newspaper printed snaps of him on holiday with his girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens in Hawaii.
"I had no idea that anyone could ever care [what I was doing]," Zac told Details magazine. "That happens to, like, big stars. I woke up and my dad told me that I was in a newspaper on the beach - he made fun of me, he said I was 'frolicking'. It's weird, I don't feel like I deserve any of the attention."
Efron also insisted that he is not fazed by rumours about his sexuality which have been spread by Perez Hilton and other bloggers.
"Honestly, if the worst he can say about me is that I'm gay, then I think I'll be fine," he said. "I can handle it."
