Berry scared by prospect of giving birth

Halle Berry has revealed her fear at the prospect of giving birth for the first time.

The Oscar-winning actress, who suffers from diabetes, is due to give birth to boyfriend Gabriel Aubry's baby in March.

Speaking to Reveal magazine, Berry admitted: "I'm more nervous now than I was during the Oscars."

"I'm worried about giving birth," added the X-Men star. "I've been pretty cool about my pregnancy up until lately, but suddenly I'm realising that there's a baby that's got to come out and someone is going to have to be there to push it out.

"Emotionally, I'm a bit of a mess. Besides all the hormones bubbling and boiling inside me, the anticipation is starting to get to me."

Berry will be closely monitored by doctors as she goes into labour, as diabetes can cause birthing complications.
