Moore blasts paparazzi over Spears

Demi Moore has blamed paparazzi for Britney Spears' recent erratic behaviour.

She said constant media attention was in danger of damaging the singer's state of mind.

Spears was reportedly overheard telling photographers that she was afraid of them after refusing to enter her latest custody hearing in LA on Monday.

Four snappers were freed on bail yesterday after being arrested for reckless driving while chasing her Mercedes on Wednesday night.

Moore admitted that press intrusion had increased dramatically since she returned to Hollywood after a break of several years.

She said: "When I first moved back to LA, I had a very difficult time and found that I didn't want to leave the house so much.

"And then I started to feel, well, I don't want to be isolated and worried that if they're getting a photograph then I'm not going to go and do something. It's difficult when they hang out at the bottom of your street waiting for you to drive by."

She added: "No one has seen it worse than Britney Spears. How can anyone see that and think that's an OK way to expect anybody to live, no matter where they're at in their life?"

Rosie O'Donnell recently warned that Spears may end up dying like Princess Diana if she continues to be followed by the paparazzi.
