Chuckle Brothers caught up in name bother

Published Saturday, Jan 19 2008, 15:31 GMT | By Daniel Kilkelly
The Chuckle Brothers have been caught up in confusion over their catchphrase "To me, to you".

Fans of kids' TV favourites Paul and Barry Elliott thought that the brothers had started selling houses when an estate agent in their home town opened a new business called Me To You Homes.

"We've got no connection with the business," Barry told The Mirror, "but I've had people coming up saying, 'Is it me?', and Paul's had them saying, 'Is it you?'

"Some people think they've taken a liberty. But the catchphrase has done us proud - so I hope it helps them as well."

Me To You's Jonathan Birks said: "I was a fan myself, and we obviously didn't want to upset them."
