Second Cruise video leaked online

Tom Cruise has described psychiatry as a "crime against humanity" in a second Scientology video leaked onto the internet.

The actor said he would no longer tolerate such a "disgusting" practice in the new clip, which made a brief appearance on YouTube before being removed.

Cruise's controversial beliefs made headlines last week after a four-year-old video of him discussing his faith was posted online.

The new footage shows him saying: "We actually have an easier time getting people off heroin and methadone than these psychiatric drugs, and I've worked very diligently to educate people about this. We have the ability to be able to fight drug companies to be able to crush these guys."

He adds: "Oh, I'm going hard on those guys, and their reign - psychiatrists. I've had, I mean, I've absolutely had it. It's disgusting to me. No mercy - none. Psychiatry doesn't work. When you study the effects, it's a crime against humanity."

He also reveals his response to a question posed by a journalist, saying: "I was doing an interview with someone and she said, 'I want to know who you are', and I said, 'Know - I'm a Scientologist'."

Cruise's filmmaking partner Paula Wagner recently hit out at critics of her friend's religious beliefs.
