Usher's father passes away

Usher has been in mourning following the death of his father.

According to MediaTakeOut, the R'n'B star's dad, Usher Raymond III, died suddenly on Friday.

The cause of death has not yet been confirmed.

The 'Burn' singer, his wife Tameka, and mother Jonetta Patton were reportedly all in attendance when he passed away.

Raymond split with Patton shortly after his son was born in 1978.
