Glamour model Jo Guest has been left virtually housebound and fearing for her life by a mystery illness.
The former Page 3 model, who appeared in the pop music video for Blur's 'Country House', revealed in an interview with This Morning that she is struggling to pay her mortgage because she has been unable to work.
She said: "I’ve had a CT scan and blood tests. I’m desperate for a diagnosis. I first noticed bloating around my stomach. I was doing a job and a dress I’d been wearing started to feel tight.
"And then some boots that I was wearing - my calves started to swell. During the day my stomach would get quite hard, then I would get really tired and my muscles were weakening.
"There was drowsiness and confusion, then it went into nausea and sickness. We’ve just got the medication right now where I’ve stopped being sick but I still feel sick all day."
Guest added that she has been forced to sell her modelling clothes and G-strings to aid her finances.
"When you come out of hospital and you're told everything's normal, you should be happy but I don't want to be told everything's normal - I just want to be told what's wrong with me," said the model.
According to the Daily Star, Guest told friends: "I feel I need a miracle now - I’m scared I’m dying."
