Lily Allen and lover purchase BMW

Lily Allen and her boyfriend Ed Simons have purchased a BMW Convertible together.

The singer suffered a miscarriage last week, but is reportedly trying to look to the future with her partner and provide a good role model for fans.

A source told the Daily Star: "They are both being strong for each other. But it was a good sign that they made the joint purchase, because it shows they are trying to be positive and think ahead.

"The car distracted her from her troubles for a moment. It’s a beautiful alpine white non-metallic car, with a coral red interior in Dakota leather."

Allen revealed yesterday that she would be continuing with her plans to host a new BBC Three chat show Lily Allen and Friends, despite her recent news.

"Lily is being a strong role model for her fans, who are flocking to her MySpace profile offering words of comfort. She’s a strong young woman who will be back to her dazzling best soon," added the source.
