Mischa Barton blasted by film co-star

'The O.C.'

Up and coming actress Antoniah Bernath has criticised her St. Trinians co-star Mischa Barton.

Bernath, who played Chloe in the British comedy, has spoken out against the Hollywood star, commenting that she "didn't know her lines or anything".

The 26-year-old did confirm that Barton looked the part of an A-list star adding: "She was very beautiful though and had a great costume and sensational skirt, good shoes, great extensions. She is the epitome of the LA actress."

However the glamour didn’t transfer into screen-time as Barton only appeared in the film for 30 seconds. Bernath sneered: "Her role was tiny. She was only there for about a day. Don't get me started on Mischa Barton."

Speaking on the industry Bernath observed: "There are so many of those pretty girls who can vaguely act. You either need to be one of those iconic beauties or just not be pretty at all."

On her own career plans she revealed: "I want one day to just be a really good actress. I just want to be a good actress and do good work and be proud of it."

Bernath is next due to star in Cuckoo, a thriller co-starring Richard E. Grant.
