Edmonds scared of 'controlling' Murphy

Tracey Edmonds left husband Eddie Murphy because she grew fearful of his "controlling" nature, a report has claimed.

A source told the New York Post that the film producer walked out after Murphy grabbed her during a row.

It had been reported that the couple's inability to agree on a pre-nup was behind their decision not to make their invalid Bora Bora wedding official.

The source said: "That was kind of the last straw. She was happy to sign a pre-nup - she has her own money. She was very accommodating. But then it was like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.

"Eddie became very controlling and insisted on bringing his mother on their honeymoon. They got into a huge fight. He started screaming at her and grabbed her. She was scared."
