Van Outen: Mead is very grown up

Denise Van Outen says Any Dream Will Do winner Lee Mead is one of the most mature men she has dated - despite their seven year age gap.

The 33-year-old presenter said her relationship with Mead was in its early stages but she hoped it would last.

She said: "He's 26 but of all the guys I've dated, he's probably the most grown up.

"It's only been a matter of weeks so I'm not going to declare my undying love just yet."

Van Outen also talked about filming for BBC One drama The Empress's New Clothes. In one scene her character Michaela lets her skimpy dress ride particularly high.

She recalled: "We had to shoot that scene outdoors, but I was well-protected. The film crew put huge screens up so that no one could see me apart from the cameramen. The only problem was keeping myself warm."
