Dame Edna mocks "non-entity" Spears

Barry Humphries' comic character Dame Edna Everage has called Britney Spears a "non-entity".

The Australian star said she had no advice for the troubled popstar because she found her "boring".

Everage told The Sun: "I would advise her to disappear because I am bored of her. What else is there to say about her?

"I have had a 50-year career and I have never taken more than half a Valium. What actually has she ever done? What has she achieved?

"I think advice is wasted on a non-entity like Britney."

However, the TV personality revealed that she was ready to offer Amy Winehouse some help whenever she needs it.

She added: "I would give her advice because at least she is a genuine talent. I would welcome her into my home and take her under my wing. She's a big talent who has fallen into the wrong circles.

"I think she should have her tattoos removed and get rid of that spooky-looking husband."
