Lawson 'won't leave children a penny'
Nigella Lawson has revealed that she will not leave any money to her children when she dies.

The TV chef and her husband Charles Saatchi are said to have a combined fortune of £110 million and own a £7 million mansion in London's Belgravia.

Saatchi, 64, is worth at least £100 million from his modern art collection and advertising firm Saatchi & Saatchi.

However Lawson, 48, told My Weekly that she believes people do not benefit from having too much cash, saying: "I am determined that my children should have no financial security. It ruins people not having to earn money.

"I argue with my husband Charles, because he believes that you should be able to leave money to your children. I think we'll have to agree to disagree."

She has 13-year-old daughter Cosima and 11-year-old son Bruno from her marriage to late journalist John Diamond, while Saatchi has daughter Phoebe from a previous marriage.

Lawson had a privileged upbringing as the daughter of former Conservative Chancellor Nigel Lawson and late socialite Vanessa Salmon, heir to the Lyons Corner House Empire.
