Britney Spears' mum wants the singer to return to the family home in Louisiana when she is released from hospital.
The popstar is on "mental health evaluation hold" at UCLA Medical Centre after she was admitted in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Lynne's lawyer Michael Flanagan told PageSix that his client wanted to get her daughter out of Hollywood as soon as possible, saying: "Brit has an amazing support system in Louisiana."
He added: "Lynne was holding up reasonably well, but her first priority and concern right now is with her daughter and helping her through this very tough situation that she is in."
Lynne is currently embroiled in a war of words with Britney's manager Sam Lufti after he arranged to have her committed.
Britney is expected to check out of the LA facility after the weekend.
She was reported to have accused her mum of sleeping with her lover Adnan Ghalib when she was taken to the hospital.
