Cheryl Cole has been receiving advice from Victoria Beckham following allegations that her husband Ashley cheated on her.
The singer poured her heart out to Beckham over the phone twice this week as she considered the future of her marriage.
Posh famously stood by her husband David in 2004 after his former PA Rebecca Loos claimed that he had been unfaithful.
"Victoria has strong views on this situation but feels she's in a good position to help Cheryl through it," a source told the News of the World. "She told her she has to be honest with herself and if she believes she can save the marriage to do everything to make that happen.
"She was clear that Cheryl should not bury herself away. She told her to get her hair done, put on some expensive make-up and buy an amazing new outfit to get out and face the world."
Last week, Aimee Walton claimed that she had sex with Ashley after meeting him in a club in December.
Glamour model Brooke Healy then told a newspaper that Ashley had cheated on Cheryl with her in 2006, just months after his wedding.
