Paris Hilton hires top acting coach

Paris Hilton has revealed that she is taking acting lessons in an attempt to win better roles on the big screen.

The socialite has hired top drama coach Ivana Chubbuck to help her develop her movie career.

She received guidance from Chubbuck during the filming of new comedy The Hottie and the Nottie and will call on her again ahead of her forthcoming appearance on US lesbian drama The L Word.

She said: "She's an incredible acting coach... If it's a scene where I have to get upset, I'll think of a past person. I'll think of something in my life, use it in the scene, and it really works."

The 26-year-old added: "I've learned actors are really great if they've lived the life and a lot of things have happened to them. I've had a lot happen to me in my life. Now I've learned to use those experiences in my acting."
